I chatted to Helen Haddon, Senior HR Partner responsible for Wellbeing at Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service about the importance of engaging with key stakeholders.  We also chatted about the complexities and different needs for operational v non operational staff plus why menopause should be an option in your absence management system.

Plus how involving their Comms and Creative Media team meant menopause was seen as an inclusive topic from the outset

I chatted to Alison Monkhouse about how Kirklees Council have created a comfortable workplace culture where it’s ok to talk about menopause.   We discussed the importance of senior sponsorship, creating a safe space for people to share stories and receiving the Inclusive Employers Bronze Standard Award.

I chatted to Julie Cridland about how Aster Group went from not even mentioning the M word 18 months ago to winning a REBA Employee Wellbeing Award for their fantastic work around the mental, physical and financial wellbeing of colleagues – and menopause featuring heavily in their submission.
